App Inventor Experience

Ever since apps were invented i never knew that you cold go to a certain type of website and create your own certain type apps. For example when we did the kitty app I was somewhat confused about what to do with the kitty app since we weren't able to get the software for the emulator installed so we were off to a slow start. The type of app that i want to build is one where you can listen to music and play games at the same time and also text or call your friends or any body that you want to just for the fun of it.
